The Dreamer is back!

Read Page 6!

I must admit, after three weeks in the U.K. I was ready to turn my coat. (Benedict Arnold makes so much more sense.) Arnold is buried in London, though I wasn’t able to make it out to visit him.

I found porcelain statues and commemorative plates of Admiral Lord Howe (“our” Howe’s older brother, and Admiral of the Navy during the American Revolution) in the British Museum. Was also impressed by the library at the British Museum… which was King George III’s personal collection. (There is a lovely marble bust of him right when you walk in.)

Speaking of King George III and Queen Charlotte, I saw both of their portraits hanging in Buckingham Palace… which he had purchased when it was just “Buckingham House.”

I loved seeing the history of the Revolution from the other side—and there was still so much I didn’t get to see.

As amazing as our trip was, I always miss webcomics when I’m gone too long. Feels good to be back and we have some especially fun pages next week.

I was so flustered at being unable to update while we were in the Highlands, that I rushed to post the video as soon as I got home and I forgot to include the video editor, Beth Brockhaus’s, bio.

IMG_1274If you missed the video, check it out below the cut. Adam Withers (Rainbow in the Dark, The Uniques) did a dramatic reading of Alan’s love letter to Bea and… it’s kind of a tear jerker.

So sorry, Beth! Leave a comment and let her know how much you loved it.

Beth Brockhaus graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design with a degree in Time Based Media Design. With her love for all things movies and television Beth chose to focus on video editing and shooting and can often be found with her face in a computer editing a project in Final Cut Pro. She can be contacted at bethenb@aol.com.
