I want to give shoutouts to two projects by very important members of the Dream Team.
This week Alan Evans (Rival Angels) launched his second Kickstarter. I’m offering a commission as a part of the “Dreamer Champion” reward tier. I don’t do commissions outside of conventions, and since I won’t be at any of my regular shows in 2016, this is a rare chance to snag a piece of original art by me. Grab it before it’s gone!
If you don’t know Alan by his own webcomic, you’ll know him as the man who helps Bea find Dr. John… and also as my writing partner. He’s been helping me plot Act II. We have a blast Skyping about all the Dreamer things yet to come…
Sarah Searle (worked on layouts in The Dreamer Volume 3) and Sarah Vaughn (ALEX + ADA) also had a big week. Their historical fiction romance “Ruined” was collected from the pages of Fresh Romance, and is available as a digital download. I was truly honored to write the forward for this story which preserves the ‘history’ in ‘historical fiction’–Ruined is not a ‘historical fantasy.’ It presents the past, warts and all.
I loved the story and, I think if you love The Dreamer, it’s up your alley, too.
